“Igniting soul’s through the proclamation of Jesus Christ”.

There is no doubt we are living in the last days. One only needs to read the headlines and look around to see prophecies being fulfilled all around us. Who would ever have thought that legislation would be necessary to affirm that marriage is a union between a man and woman, it actually sounds absurd! The heart-wrenching cry of unconcerned mothers demanding the right to abort their babies, wars and rumors of wars, terrorism, car bombings, nation against nation, world powers rallying for control, nuclear testing, earthquakes, volcanoes, drastic weather changes. All of these point to one thing, the soon appearing of the Lord, "which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty!"

Focus in the Word today: "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation 1:8)

I love the definition of the word “Almighty”, the sovereign, the omnipotent, the absolute and all-ruling one! Ah yes! He is the Sovereign of the Universe and in Him lies the supreme right to do as He wills. Yet even in His absolute sovereignty, He wills to keep His covenant with mankind to be our God throughout all the generations, our Almighty, our Omnipotent, our Absolute and All-Ruling One. The wonderful news is that even in the midst of all that is wrong in this world, we have no need to fear or dread for we are exhorted in this particular passage that as He was in the beginning, as He is with us today, so shall He be with us in the end. His promise is that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Let us Pray: “Thank You, Almighty Father, for Your great and wonderful promises. We trust in tomorrow for we know You will be there insuring it and Jesus will be there guiding us through it. Almighty God, we admit that there are many times when fear tries to steal our heart away from the assurances we have found in You. Father God, we know Your will is not arbitrary. We know You want what is best for us. So please give each of us wisdom as we choose our partners and our closest friends. You, O’ Lord, are truly our Alpha and Omega and everything in between. Help us keep our eyes fixed on You as we walk hand in hand with You in these last days. Lord, no matter how difficult things become, our heart belongs to You, our gaze is fixed on You, our desire is only toward You. Father, Your greatness overwhelms us, your eternal existence is truly a mystery to our limited ability to comprehend. Your holiness is unsearchable, and Your righteousness untouchable. Thank You for the shed blood of the Lamb who was slain before the foundations of the earth, in the eternity before time. You are God, Your throne established, You are the Most High, the Almighty, the Exalted One, and so much more. Help us to help each other live for You and share Your blessings and grace. Help us to influence others to come to know You, Your mercy, and Your salvation more completely. In Jesus' Name. Come quickly, Lord Jesus, come. Amen.”

We face one of two realities. One reality is this: tomorrow will come, the earth will turn, and the seasons will pass in their appointed order. The second reality, God will interrupt His appointed order, Jesus will come and we'll share in His glory. These realities are as sure as the clouds in the sky and the rainbows that connect them. Either way, God's promises win out over our fears and satan's opposition. In other words, by God's grace, we win! Cling to His promises today and be assured of His presence in the midst of all life’s circumstances in these last days. Keep watching for Him, “your redemption draweth nigh”!

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21:28)
