"Igniting soul's through the proclamation of Jesus Christ".

Jesus Christ, our Shepherd, knows us better than we know ourselves, inside and out! He knows our hearts, our motives, our strengths, our weaknesses. As sheep in His fold we, too, must know Him "inside and out," but the only way we can do this is to grow in our relationship with Him daily.

Today's Focus Scripture: "I am the Good Shepherd; I know My sheep and My sheep know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father, " (John 10:14-15)

We can't know someone we don't spend time with. It is much like a courtship, we've met and He has made His intentions known toward us, now, it's up to us to get to know Him as He knows us, intimately, just as He knows the Father, as One.

Let us Pray: "O' Great Shepherd, carry thee like a lamb, tenderly in Your arms and close to Your heart. Thy life, thy future, and thy strength depend upon You. Shepherd of thy soul, a place of intimacy and sweet communion with You is thy fiercest desire. As the days go by, things of this world are beginning to fade into the background and the need for a greater relationship with You is becoming our passion. Please help each of us hear Your voice above the confusing distractions around us. May our soul longs to know You as You know us, to hear Your voice above all others, and to walk in the path You have set before each of us. Lead thee, O' Shepherd, protect thee, guide thee, and feed thee through Your Word as we hide it in our heart in daily communion with You. We trust that You will lead us to what we need as You mature us to have more and more of Your righteous character. Please forgive us for getting too busy to hear Your voice and to respond to Your grace. Under Your care we have no fears. Thank You for being my Shepherd. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen."

Make plans now to set aside some time today and every day to learn to know Him. Spend time with Him today, talk to Him and include Him in all your daily activities. Remember, He's a friend that sticks closer than a brother, He's never more than a thought away. Then, open your Bible and learn His love for you, learn His personality, you'll soon be known by the company you keep. Your relationship with Him will grow to be better day by day, each day better than the day before with expectation and anticipation for greater communion as each day passes.

Don't allow yourself to believe the lie of the enemy, you are Not alone, you have the Good Shepherd looking after you, walking life's journey with you as His rod and staff bring you comfort. A sheep is only as good as its shepherd. We are incredibly blessed!

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." (Psalm 23)
