Yet the LORD has been reminding me of a given:  it is so simple but  
necessary...
 
 
LORD GOD ALMIGHTY bring  together those thoughts that began while reading the 
beginning of Acts chapter  5.  Earlier in acts believers were filled with 
YOUR Holy  Spirit and spoke in other tongues, they were filled with  YOUR Holy 
Spirit and had great boldness to witness and then in chapter 5  believers let 
the evil one invade and their hearts were filled  with not with the Holy Spirit 
but the evil spirit..and the fruit was envy, greed  and deception. 
If I am filled with negative thoughts there is no room for YOUR Holy Spirit 
to fill  me with joy... so take these negative thoughts 
If I am filled  with suspicion there is no room for YOUR Holy Spirit to fill 
me with hope  so take this suspicion 
If I am  filled with fear, there is no room for YOUR Holy  Spirit to fill me 
with peace.... so take this  fear. 
If I am  filled with doubt, there is no room for YOUR Holy Spirit to  fill me 
with faith...so take this doubt. 
If I am  filled with anger, there is no room for YOUR Holy Spirit to  fill me 
with love...so take this anger 
If I am  filled with self-pity there is no room for YOUR Holy Spirit to  fill 
me with thanksgiving...so take this pity. 
If I am  filled with envy there is no room for YOUR Holy Spirit to show me 
the  other's needs... so take this envy 
If I am  filled with my thoughts there is no room for YOUR Holy  Spirit to 
show me YOUR thoughts...take my thoughts. 
If I am  filled with lust or greed there is no room for YOUR Holy Spirit  to 
fill me with contentment...so take this lust and  greed. 
Just empty me out of  the things that hinder YOU and fill me anew with YOUR 
Holy Spirit I pray  in the name of JESUS. 
Thank YOU for the  command to take my every thought to YOU (II Cor.10:5)
