I HEARD JESUS SAY, "MY CRUCIFIXION WAS FOR SINNERS - BRING THEM TO WATCH ME DIE!"

I sense the Holy Spirit really preparing hearts for this coming movie, "The Passion of the Christ." I think it is significant that the hardest of hearts showed up at Jesus' crucifixion. Isn't it ironic that those who rejected and mocked Jesus and all that He stood for showed up to see Heaven's best performance of the love of God! The majority were sinners not saints. Only a few believers got close to the crucifixion. Jesus' mother and John the Beloved. There may have been others but few in number. In Mark 27:55 it says, "And many women were there beholding the crucifixion 'afar off', which followed Jesus from Galilee." These women beheld it afar off. As I was pondering why so few believers showed up near to the cross, I sensed the Lord saying. "My crucifixion was for sinners. I used their hardened hearts to cause them to show up to watch me die for them and "it worked!" "Sinners had the best seats in the house at My crucifixion! That's the way it was supposed to be!"

There was salvation taking place just watching the crucifixion. Jesus hung between two sinners on the cross. The thief on the cross next to Jesus probably had one of the best views of the crucifixion and he cried out, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom!" In Mark 27:54 "Now when the centurion and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake and those things that were done, they feared greatly saying, "Truly this was the Son of God!" Sounds like hearts were being changed.

I sense we as believers are going to come away from this movie coming up very short in regards of what we are about to see through His suffering and agony for our sins. We are going to discover a fresh revelation that "all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God!" But I sense the Lord saying. "Don't forget to invite and bring the unbelievers, the mockers, the God haters and those who seem so hardened against Me, for I am preparing their hearts more than you know. These are the ones who I died for! 

I even sense the Lord saying. . "My crucifixion was for sinners (including you) - so bring another one with you when you come to watch me die!"

According to 1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
