Hello everyone, Well, we finally made it to North Carolina and I have to say it is beautiful, even it the quiet of winter. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and immediately walked the property. It is definitely a diamond in the rough but it feels right to be on a piece of land that will provide for our needs in times of crisis. We have a large chicken coop ready for our laying chickens we will be purchasing next week. Attached to the coop is a three stall goat barn and tack room for those miniature milk/cheese producers and a HEATED dog house for our newest arrival, Baruch, an eight week old German Shepherd. I become overwhelmed with the excitement of beginning the aquaponics in the large chicken barns just thinking of the potential. We have already begun writing the grant to fund it through the USDA. Well, that's it for now. Like the James Taylor song says, "In my mind I've gone to Carolina!" God bless everyone, and thanks for all the words of encouragement. Jan I pray the Lord fulfills your every desire. Kim and Tim and kids
