Dear Family at Beit Yeshua,

I copied this post off of another forum of which
Lianne is a member.  For those who do not know, Lianne
came to church last Friday night with all of her
little girls.  Just thought we could pray for them!!!!

My dear homeschooling family,

I would like to request your prayers for our family. 
As some of you know, my husband lost his job about a
month and a half ago.  As he was unable to find work
locally, he decided to go up to New York to work with
his brother there for the month of August, with the
hopes that when he returned, things would have picked
up a bit here, and he'd be able to find work again. 
Well, yesterday, as he was packing up his truck in New
York to leave and come back home, a bungie cord
snapped and hit him with full force in his left eye. 
He immediately lost sight in that eye, and they rushed
him to an emergency eye clinic in Manhattan.  After a
full day in the hospita there, the doctor determined
that he has a torn iris.  He expects that Jaime will
recover some (or perhaps most!) of the sight in that
eye -- praise the Lord!  But this leaves us with a few
areas in which we need prayer.  First, of course,
please pray for his healing.  Secondly, we need him
back here!  We're praying that he'll be able to drive
soon, so he can come back home!  Third, we currently
have no health insurance, and I know the Lord is going
to provide, but if you could just pray for peace and
wisdom for us, we could use it!  And last, please
really pray that my husband would be able to find work
when he gets back.

Whew!  What a list!  But I thank you all for your love
and prayers!  What a joy it is to have brothers and
sisters to share our burdens with!
