It Can't Be Helped Sometimes there is nothing you can do about it. You may become "all things to all men" in order to "by all means save some" (1 Cor. 9:22) but still many will not listen. Try as you might to get along, there will be people that just will not like you. They have no reason except that you teach the truth. It is important not to let this type of person get to you. Don't let them cause you to lose enthusiasm for the work of God. John says that we should "Marvel not, brethren, if the world hateth you" (1John 3:13). In similar words, our Lord tells us the same thing: "If the world hateth you, ye know that it hath hated me before it hated you" (John 15:18). Never stop teaching the gospel. It is ".the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth" (Romans 1:16). There will always be people that don't like you. As long as you are faithful to the word of God, it can't be helped.
