This is awesome! This particular devotion is speaking specifically to a
need that I have right now and actually the first verse contains words from
a Psalm that the Lord impressed me to memorize yesterday... "Surely He will
not be shaken, The righteous will be in eternal remembrance. "He will not be
afraid when the evil tidings come, his heart is steadfast, trusting in the
Lord, his heart is established he will not be afraid."
Isn't it neat how God speaks to you through people, circumstances,
particular verses and devotions?? You know, without a doubt, that it is not
coincidence that brings these things our way but undoubtedly the hand of
God. He is ever so faithful to comfort us in our times of need.
Fear cripples us and the devil works through fear to infect and cloud our
minds to get our focus off of God. I thought of a wonderful sentence today
that turns the harm in the word fear into life. Just by taking the letters I
came up with....F E A R..."Feeling at Ease, Acknowledging the Righteous One
that covers me, and the "sound" mind that He supplies". We need to take what
the devil means for harm and turn it for good.
Blessings to my brothers and sisters in Christ!
