Hi Folks

I am truly blessed that God will always be with us and guide us when we need guidance and
wisdom.

Ok, just from the title of the message you can see where I'm going here - look out for your comfort zone.
You know what I mean by that? Well, sometimes we get entrenched in our present situations, everything
is going well, we get comfortable with what we're doing and where we are and we are very happy with
life the way it is. No problem so far. Well, actually, yes there is. Sometimes we get just a little bit too
comfortable and we don't listen to what God is telling us. You know the sort of thing: the Lord keeps on
telling you you should be doing something but you're just feeling so wonderfully comfortable where you
are. "Thanks for the advice Lord but I'm really quite happy with how things are going at the moment"

Now here's the problem - God knows what's coming down the track at us; we don't. So, for our own
protection He often warns us to get out of our little comfort zone in advance. I know this from experince
because there has been twice in my life where I've been so entrenched in my nice cosy little comfort
zone that I've completely ignored what's happening. In both situations He has urged me to get out of
that comfort zone and just follow where He leads but in both cases I was so entrenched in that cosy
zone that I had the 'thanks for the advice but I'm happy where I am' attitude. Well folks, you know
what happens when we stay in our comfort zone too long? He sometimes has to evict us for our own good.
I know it sounds crazy but it's not. Folks, let me tell you in both cases if I had made the choice when
God first started urging me to get out, I would not have had to go through some very bad experiences.

No matter what happens, we should never allow oursleves to become too comfortable to follow where
He leads because it's when we are outside of our comfort zones that He is strongest (2 Corinthians 12:9
"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most
gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.")

My ramble for today.

Have a blessed day!

Earl
