TRAVELS, TEACHING AND TRANSITION
  by J. Randal Matheny

My US trip for the May Missionary Retreat at Maywood
Christian Camp, Hamilton, Ala., was a blessing. I pray
that I also left a blessing, in the time shared with
others and the lesson I gave Friday, May 2.

Information about the trip and my wanderings in the US
can be accessed here:

Besides numerous links on the story above, there is
also a pdf of the retreat speeches that can be
downloaded.

As mentioned in the link above, our brother and long-
time friend, JC Enlow, had invited me to assume the
work of 21st Century Global Missions. In spite of its
attractions, we don't feel like this is our moment to
leave our work and the country of Brazil.

Gory details of my flights to and fro Brazil can be
read here:

Read also the translated text of my article, "The
Brazilian Church in the Last 20 Years."

The article was written by invitation on the 20th
anniversary of a neighboring congregation's church
bulletin.

The SJC church is searching for a new meeting place,
after deciding to give up the building it has been
renting for the last five years.
