Randal Matheny Every time I pull out my Brazilian ID card, I see the following information: "Date of entry: 28 November 1984." On that day, Vicki, Micah, and I entered Brazil to take up residence and begin our service here in the kingdom of God. On that day, I never imagined we would still be here, by God's grace, and active in his work. On November 20th, we gathered in Sao Jose dos Campos with Christian friends and celebrated this special date. The walls were decorated with green and yellow, Brazil's colors. And on the wall and the cake, our brethren here had made hearts decorated with the American and Brazilian flags, signs that our own hearts have a place for both. The Lord has blessed us so much during these years, with friends, brethren, efforts and, not least, two Brazilian children, Joel and Leila. Along the way, also, tribulations, obstacles, challenges, which the Lord has used for his purposes.
