Internet Feedback Reinforces Writing
by J. Randal Matheny

A writer always enjoys hearing from the readers.
Feeback serves to motivate further. It also helps to
evaluate how well he's doing his job.

Below are some comments posted on the Forthright
Magazine site (www.forthright.net) and the UPLift page
(www.YourDaytoShine.com).

Forthright Magazine feedback:

"Thank you for your lessons! I use them to help teach
my WBS students." --Darlene Duncan

"I really enjoy your articles and appreciate all who
are involved. I forward them to brethen, friends and
family who are not Christians. Our prayers are with you.
God bless. --Billy McVey

"Thank you for your enriching messages. I am always
happy to see one of your articles appear in my Inbox. I
forward them a lot to both the saved and unsaved. Keep
on doing your 'preachin' online.' Being old and
infirm, this is my only way I can try to advance God's
and Christ's Gospel. I am thankful for the internet.
And for your good efforts. YOU ARE APPRECIATED. God
bless your good work." --Gayle, North Richland Hills,
Tex.

UPLift feedback:

"Loved the questions you put. How do you think of time
... Oh, have had to learn a big difference about time.
We think we have perhaps tomorrow. After the loss of my
husband, I realize I have only right now to make any
difference, in any one life. I stopped living in the
past looking forward to home. I'm passing through on
earth to finish my race and path God put before me.
Praise God for the wake-up call. --J. Curran

"Thanks for the 'uplifting' thoughts on contentment.
These were thought-provoking and were what I needed at
this time. I lost my husband to a car accident 18
months ago and our (me and my children) lives have
changed so drastically -- I must admit that I haven't
been as content as I should have been through these
months. I realize we still have lots of blessings. But
I seem to be more involved in thinking about what we
don't have now and what we have lost and wondering why
us; and I know this is not the way I should be
thinking. Your words meant a lot to me. Thanks and
continue on!" --Shannon Evans

"Re: Choose Choice - This looks like it is going to be
a great series, brother Randal. Thank you for all the
great UpLifts. I am greatly encouraged. Glory \o/ to
God (Phil 4:20)! May the Lord help us to choose right
always." --Rafael Moreno

"Absolutely right. We are the product of our choices.
There is a young woman in the apartment complex where I
live who always makes wrong choices then cries for help
when she faces the consequences. She could be anything
she wanted to be but for her choices." --Bill Hyatt

"Brilliant. This is something that I have been trying
to get my son to understand. Thanks and God bless."
--Karl Abrahams
