BZEAL WEEKLY
2007 February 26

MUSCLES, CAMPING, AND FRIENDS
by J. Randal Matheny

• Randal's muscles seem to be in order, but our car is
still in the shop after the Jan. 24 accident. At least
we got a replacement car Feb. 16 paid by the insurance
company. Our car is a 95/96 model, so finding parts is
problematic.

• Leila went Feb. 17-20 to youth camp at the Mt. of
Olives Christian Camp during the Carnaval holidays.
While she was camping, friends Petterson and Sandra,
from Belo Horizonte, spent Sunday to Tuesday with us.

• Vicki got a good report from her cardiologist Feb.
26. She's been using the flylady.net method of
housekeeping and enjoying the good results.

• The January edition of Edificacao Magazine was
released earlier this month, highlighting the theme,
"Living by Faith."

• Randal goes to teach "This We Believe" at the
Cajazeiras church in Salvador March 9-11.

• The dollar keeps dropping to new lows, going for
R$2.07 as of last week. The lower it drops, the less
we can buy in Brazil.

• Randal was invited to speak at World Evangelism
School of Mission's Missionary Retreat at the Maywood
Christian Camp in Hamilton, Ala., May 10-12. Among the
speakers are Glover Shipp, J.C. Choate, Wayne Barrier,
and Loy Mitchell.

• Our brother Bruno Werneck works in SJCampos and is
from Belo Horizonte, where we once lived. He returned
there for the Carnaval holidays and at a church camp,
mentioned to someone he was living here "where Randal
works." The brother told him, "Randal taught me." But
Bruno couldn't remember the brother's name.
