Adauri finished up preaching the whole second quarter in SJCampos. He used the heroes of faith in Hebrews 11 for an encouraging series of lessons. JORGE TAUGHT BIBLE SCHOOL. During the same period Jorge Santana taught the SJCampos Sunday Bible class on the Sermon on the Mount. It's encouraging to see these brothers learning to teach and preach. TAUBATÉ CHURCH PROGRESSES. The work in the city of Taubaté has been slow, especially with the problems in Valeria's family. She continues chemotherapy for her breast cancer and has been sticking it out bravely after her husband abandoned the home. Valeria is considering returning to her hometown, since she has no one in Taubaté to help with her kids when she takes her treatments. Please keep her in your prayers. VICKI SPEAKS ON MODESTY. Vicki and Leila's lesson was so well received in Belo Horizonte, they were invited to repeat it in Sao Paulo, where they've gone today to speak at a city-wide ladies' day. They have to hurry back, though, because this afternoon is the SJCampos monthly ladies' meeting, and they'll be giving this lesson again. LEILA PLAYS FLUTE. Last night the Spalla music school where Leila studies flute and piano gave a mid-year recital. Leila is a member of "Spalla Notas," the musical group made up of students and her teacher Gilda. HOW TO LEAD IN WORSHIP. I've finished a book, written by several brethren, on how to lead in worship. Of the 12 chapters I wrote five. The 60-page book targets those with little experience in leading in worship. ----- BZeal rejoices in the progress of the gospel in Brazil and around the world. Please share this email with friends.
