It's the second edition, revised and enlarged, of a College Press offering. Glover has added a fifth chapter. Of special interest to us is the cover: son Micah and his fiancée are featured. Check out (and order) the book here: http://forthrightpress.com/#CovenantMarriage THREE IN ONE YEAR After my accident at the beginning of the year, we've had two more involving our car. Joel was driving in June on his visit here and a hit- and-run driver scraped the side of the car in a curve. Last week was Vicki's turn as a lady back-ended her in an intersection. She wasn't hurt, but the car bumped the car ahead, leaving us was a broken front grill and broken bumper (and no way to open the trunk). Tomorrow we take the car to see what parts will be needed. We'll keep the car while the parts are ordered. (Our car is old, so it's hard to find parts.) Supposedly the lady's insurance will pay for repairs, but we'll be riding the bus while the car is in the shop. LEILA IN CONCERT Leila continues to impress with her progress in flute and piano. Recently, she participated in a presentation in a community center in the north part of town. She's become her teacher's star pupil. MISSIONARY BATTLES CANCER Please pray for David Meadows, battling pancreas cancer that has spread to his lungs. He began a new type of chemotherapy that has left him debilitated. He's now in the hospital under oxygen. David is a long-term missionary and elder in the Guarulhos congregation, which he initiated. The congregation is in the greater Sao Paulo region. He is also the general director of the Christian youth camp.
