Hello everyone, and a very good morning to all. (The way I type it will be evening before I'm finished)
I'm very glad to have stumbled onto this site....and to tell you the truth, I'm not exactly certain how
it happened.
I was on-line looking for vintage brass lug casings....   The Lord works in mysterious ways!

 Well, You're correct ...I'm John Holliday / 41 yrs. old / Born in Pekin, Illinois/ now in Denver, Colorado.
Drumming (physically and mentally) for 28 years/ Bible thumping Christian for 15 yrs.

I was forcibly retired from playing for quite a long while due to personal detrimental actions.. Use your talents
wisely boys and girls....they can go away in a flash.

This past year and a half has seen the Lord light the fire under me and renew my interest in the drums.....although
I cannot in any way shape or form actually PLAY them.  I live in a very old apartment.
Yet that has not stopped me from building a kit made out of vintage Slingerlands finished in White Marine Pearl.
If there is a place to play, HE will make it available.

My main drum (heroes) inspirations are Gene Krupa, Carl Palmer, Neil Peart, Phil Collins, Slim Jim Phantom,
Keith Moon.....and others that I cannot recall at the moment.

 I'll close this out now before I get too long winded!  Thanks for having me in, and I hope this wasn't too
boring.
