"Don't Be Intimidated"
"...Let no man's heart fail because of him...." 1
Samuel 17:32
When the men of Israel looked at the size of Goliath each
day as he came out and threaten them... they were intimidated by
him. When the spies went into the land and saw how big the people
were... they were intimidated by them. The word for you this
morning is... don't be intimidated by the size of your problem. It
may look big, it may look overwhelming, it may look much stronger than
you are, it may be threatening you, but don't be intimidated by it.
Remember this... Goliath was big; he was a champion warrior;
but he was not bigger or stronger than the Lord. God brought him
down. Remember this... the inhabitants who were in the promised
land were big, but they were no match for the Lord. He was faithful
as promised and eventually took the Israelites into the promised
land. Remember this... the walls of Jericho looked impenetrable--
it looked impossible--- but it wasn't too big to keep God out- He brought
those walls down.
I'm telling you this morning, that your situation, your
problem, your circumstance is not too big for God--- He is bigger so
don't be intimidated by the size of it. Is there anything too big
for God to handle? Is there anything greater than He is? Is
there anything stronger? Is there anything too hard for Him to
accomplish? You may be like a small shepherd boy standing before a
giant; you might be like a grasshopper in your own opinion; you might be
small compared to the size of the wall; the mountain may dwarf you as you
stand before it... but it doesn't God! So don't look at the size of
your problem... look at the size, the power, the might, and the
faithfulness of your God.
Have a great day. The problem may be big, but it's not
bigger than God... so don't let it intimidate you.
