Hi all,
Just a quick note to let all of you know I needed to make a change to the 
group because of virus problems with several groups at freegroups.net.  What 
has been happening is that listowner addresses are being forged and attemps 
are made to send viruses to the e-mail group using the list owner e-mail 
address.
Because of this problem, in order to prevent any accidental distribution of 
a virus to the members of this group, I have turned off "styled" (HTML) 
e-mail.  This will allow the freegroups.net server to strip off any virus 
attachments to e-mails.   I found this option much more appropriate than 
moderating all e-mails to the list.  (which would have meant approving 
everything that was sent to the group no matter who sends it).
What does this mean for you?  All messages to this list will need to be 
sent as plain text, without stationery or HTML text.
