Dear CU, >Given that we are to "render unto Caesar", should Christians protest taxes >or in any way try to change the current (or future) tax situation? > I think we need to remember that our fight is not against flesh and blood--we should aim at removing the root of the problem and not just the "above ground" bits. Where the state permits, we should use whatever means permissible to bring about change for the good (the area "above ground"), but the core of the problem is essentially a spiritual one. Does this really have anything to do with Christian unity? Well, if Christians unite and apply the spiritual weapons made available to them in Christ, Jesus' prayer that God's kingdom would come about on earth just as it is in heaven begins to be realised. Christians united in this way present the principalities and powers of evil with a spiritual sign that they cannot ignore. On a lighter note: what would the recipients of hundreds, or even thousands of tea bags do with them, and should they be sent used or unused bags? **chuckle** In Him, Skandalon
