Hi again list,

And especially you, Vesa. One thing did occur to me you might want to try
to do to get the churches in your area together. Have you thought about
maybe an all-denominational youth group devoted to Chritian music and maybe
Christian unity? What made me think of it was that I recently got an
invitation for my "band" to play at a town nearby where they were starting a
youth group coffee house for all kids, and it was to be totally
non-denominational and open to all Christians, especially youths.

They were inviting Christian bands to come and play. I'd be glad to send
you a copy of this invitation they sent me if you think you might be
interested in something like that. Let me know if you want me to email it
to you. You could consider asking some of the churches if they might be
willing to help provide the room, or audio equipment, or other support. You
could maybe start by sending a paper out to see if other Christian young
people at those other churches near you might be interested.

Some other ideas for such a group:
You could invite local Christian bands to play. When no band was there to
play, you could bring a computer and download free Christian music from the
internet, and let everybody judge it to see which songs they like the best.
You could search especially for Christian music that sings about the
subject of Christian unity. I could help you there if you like by telling
you some Christian music websites on the internet to search at.

And of course, you could get on the internet and hold group discussions
about the subject of Christian unity with email lists like this one. You
could talk about Christian unity in the Bible, and ask questions and discuss
things with people like on this list. I bet we could have some really
interesting discussions and the people on this list would be happy to help.
How about it CU list?

Would anybody on this CU list be willing to help out and participate in such
discussions with a youth group interested in Christian unity? What do you
think?

Who knows, if young people get it started, maybe others in the churches
would come too, and get involved in Christian unity?

Love in Jesus to all,
Tim
