Hello all, this is the first time im writing to this group. Tim and Tom that is a great idea about doing a music collection, We here at The Refuge in florida have been doing something along the same idea, but getting permission from some of the labels is hard because they don't want to see anybody else profit from it. We promote youth outreach concerts with different types of music from punk/ska to contemporary, what we are trying to do is get one song from every band that has played for us a make a cd for use as a gift for a small donation, to keep the rest of the ministry of serving dinners for the homeless and lower income or anyone who wants a meal, giving out canned foods and frozen cooked meats, and giving out clothing and other personal hygeine products. I guess my question is if there is anyone out there who knows how to go about getting labels to give permission please let me know so I can relay it to the pastor Thanx davejrinfl@...
