Thanks for sending this to the Cu list, Pete. The sentiment it expresses is
right on the mark. I'm a little bothered about people who put a request for
donations in their email signature, but I suppose the ox eats of the corn he
grinds.

I like the point, "> The Corinthian Church allowed human pride, the need to
be the one that
> prevails in the decision, divide the Body into hostile factions."

It is only the prideful subjects, the subjects involving man's various
interpretations of non-essentials to salvation, that cause us to deny our
brotherhood in Christ with one who believes to repentance in Jesus of the
Bible. Thank God there are some Christians in every Christian group and
denomination you can name, that are becoming more and more aware of just how
Satan uses that carnal pride of non-essential doctrine to keep unbelieving
sinners in the darkness, and hide the light of the gospel from the world,
which is the good news message of the available sin-cleansing,
oppression-lifting, death-defying salvation in Jesus.

Our pride keeps the world blinded to the truth. And humbly laying down our
lives for *all* brothers and sisters in Christ, for every believer Jesus
died for, in every Christian denomination and group, causes all men to know
we are the disciples (followers) of Jesus, the living Son of the true God,
whom we follow into God's love for whosoever believeth in Him to repentance.

I also went to the hompage site for this Epistle and checked their Statement
of Faith. It includes a line I have seen several times lately, in
statements of faith made by several different groups. I think it's catching
on, and I pray it immediately becomes universally accepted throughout the
body of Christ. I know it will be someday:

7.We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ, and the evidence
of that unity being shown by how we love one another.

Love in Jesus to all,
