Dave,

I visited your page on salvation. What a terrific collection of scriptures!
I saved the page to my hard drive for further study and use. I hope it does
FWP some good, but I don't have great hopes that he'll listen. I've seen
Christians try to use reason on him, kindness, love, and even scripture, but
so far, nothing seems to register with him. Reminds me of two things Jesus
said:

(Luke 16:31 KJV) And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the
prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
(Mat 10:14 KJV) And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words,
when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

That's how I feel about FWP. If he won't hear the scriptures, to save his
soul, presented in a reasoned, loving and caring way, then he won't hear
anything worth talking about.

Also it's interesting to notice how FWP reacts when someone starts an
interesting or productive discussion on Christian subjects. He increases
the number of posts he makes, 'cause he wants his posts to obscure the
Christian posts, and make the CU list web page reset sooner. I think it's
so some new person surfing through will be misled and think that his kind of
discussion is all we do. That's why he makes all those extraneous posts
with meaningless stuff from other sites. He really thinks he's doing
something.

I use MS Outlook Express, so I never read his posts, but I can see how many
he makes. And I can tell by some of his subject titles, and by the
Christian responses, that he is rambling and flaming as usual. I couldn't
care less what he says, but I don't like to see him try to take over this
list with such nonsense. Let's see if we can get a good Christian thread
started. If we do, you can bet FWP won't participate. He hates to hear the
truth of God's word. Maybe he'll finally get fed up and leave.

Anyway, my compliments on a great job on your salvation page. I hope all
the Christians see it, and share it with non-Christians. I intend to use it
in the future anytime someone needs to find scriptures to show them the way
to Jesus. Also I intend to respond to your good other post about unity.

Your Brother in Christ,
Tim
