What I have to say this morning may not "set" well with everyone, but I need to share this nonetheless.  This morning I received a sobering message from a close friend of mine who is on her way to speak to college students about abortion . . . her thoughts shook the very essence of my being:

Not to diminish the tragedy we have just seen in any respect, but more lives than this are lost EVERY DAY in the abortionaries across this land.  How can we make people stand up and take note that this horriffic affair is replayed day after day after day at the hands of America's medical doctors -- the doctors who stood and took an oath of healing!  Again, this is not meant to take away from our national tragedy, but a call to wake up to the fact that the same tragedy exists today and is legal because of legislation made by those we voted into office!  My prayer is that somehow people will wake up and see that the same horror we feel regarding this national tragedy should be our response to the abortion tragedy.  In both cases, innocent lives are senselessly erradicated at the hands of murderous terrorists!  The attack against the foreign terrorists should be no more than the attack against legalized murder in the abortion clinics.  The shedding of innocent blood must stop now on ALL fronts!

How many "wake-up" calls do we expect to receive? This is a bloody land, flowing with that which has been shed by the spilling of innocent blood at the hands of terrorists -- after all that's what they
are regardless of what level their attack, whether it be innocent people at the WTC, etc.,  or innocent children in the "safety" of their mother's womb!
