"But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart." (Luke
2:19)

Today's Thought

There's a song written by Mark Lowry that has become popular during the past
few years that seems to have grasped the depth of meaning of this simple
verse. "Mary, did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?"
Ahhhh . . . Mary pondered all that she had been told in her heart but one
wonders just how much she understood about that baby boy she held in her
arms!

Turn your volume up and go to this link . . . listen to the music and read
the lyrics and being, like Mary, to ponder these things in your heart:

Who is this Baby that is spoken of? Who is this Jesus that we speak of?

He is the First and Last, the Beginning and the End!
He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all!
He is the Architect of the universe and the Manager of all times.
He always was, He always is, and He always will be...
Unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!
He was bruised and brought healing!
He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom!
He was dead and brought life!
He is risen and brings power!
He reigns and brings Peace!
He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.
His ways are right,
His word is eternal, His will is unchanging.
He is the Redeemer, the Savior,
He is our Guide, and our Peace!
He is our Joy, our Comfort,
He is our Lord, and He rules our lives!
He is the wisdom of the wise,
The power of the powerful, the ancient of days,
The ruler of rulers, the leader of leaders,
The overseer of the overcomers,
And the sovereign Lord of all that was and is and is to come.
He is God, He is faithful.
He is Heaven's Perfect Lamb!
He is the Great I Am!

As we celebrate this Babe born in a manger, never forget just Who He is. Be
like Mary and ponder these things in your heart until your heart overflows
with love for Abba Father who gave the very best He could give to make a way
for us to be called by His name and become His sons and daughters!

Oh, friends . . . if you ever doubt the love our Father has for us, just
come back to the "pondering" of Mary and allow the fullness of God's
blessing found in His Son fill you to overflowing! Heaven's perfect Lamb .
. . the Great I Am!

Today's Prayer

Father, such a powerful revelation to our hearts, Lord, You have given us in
knowing what Mary could only ponder in her heart! How can we ever thank
You, Lord, for this Gift You have so sacrificially and lovingly given to us!
Accept this gift of praise, the fruit of our lips and the overflowing of our
hearts, as a token of our love, Father! May our worship be pleasing to You
as we celebrate this Child, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ before Whom
all creation will one day bow and proclaim that He is Lord indeed! Thank
You, Lord, for the Reason for this Season . . . Jesus, Lord and King! Amen
and Amen!

Have a blessed day!

that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them." (Luke 2:20)
