Good Morning List: My name is Dianne VerPorter my husband John and I live in Landrum SC which is just across the border of North Carolina. We attend the Tryon CoG which is in Tryon NC. We are active in the youth Group and I play piano. Our church is very small but growing. Between us we have four grown children, three grandsons, two step grandsons, and three step granddaughters. We have children in Paduccah KY Greenville Sc Pigeon Forge TN and Battlecreek MI. I work in the accounting department of a large prestress concrete company and my husband works as a plumber for a home building company. My husband and I both accepted the Lord about three years ago so we are still learning and growing and may we never stop. Our hobby is camping and remodeling our 74 year old home. My prayer request is for my husband to be able to quit smoking and to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and for our church to continue growing and ministering to the youth of the community. ----Original Message----- From: Jan Ross [mailto:rross@...] Sent: Tuesday, April 11, 2000 1:34 AM To: cog@... Subject: [CoG] Roll Call Good Morning . . . My husband and I do genealogy research for our "together-time" hobby . . . we have found it to be a lot of fun, meeting new friends and family members, and taking every opportunity to witness to all we have contact with! In the midst of our research, we have joined NUMEROUS discussion lists related to our research. One thing that has worked rather well on the lists is what they term as a "Roll Call" where everyone shares just a bit about their research in case someone reading it may have a link to their family. Since this list has once again become active, I thought it would be a good idea to do a Roll Call. Please take a couple minutes, share who you are, where you live, and a few details about yourself and family and church. It doesn't have to be long but it would just be good that we get to know one another! Also, add any prayer concerns you may have so we pray for each other! Looking forward to "meeting" all of you . . . Jan Ross jross@... http://focusontheword.com ICQ#18767082 "For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.
