Jan:
Our Pastor preached on the same scripture verse this sunday. He was
preaching on how Jesus rode on a "beast of burden". That all of us are
going to have burdens we need to learn how to ride on them and not under
them.

Subject: [CoG] Palm Sunday
Hi . . .
Was just taking a nap while Dr. Kennedy was on TV real low in the
background. Something caught my ear and I perked up . . . he made a point I
had never considered before!
Matt 21:1-2 "And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to
Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, Saying
unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall
find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me."
(KJV)
The fact that Jesus road a colt of an ass that had never before been ridden
in itself was proof that He is Lord over everything . . . even the animals!
The animal hadn't been "broken" yet allowed the King of kings and Lord of
lord to ride upon it peacefully as they entered the gates of Jerusalem while
the crowds were waving palm branches and throwing down their cloaks and
clothing and yelling, "Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that
cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest."
Hallelujah . . . what a Saviour!
Blessings,
Jan Ross
