This past spring, our choir recorded an album . . . it turned out to be 2 CD's since it was hard to figure out which songs to cut! Anyway, our minister of music, Clay Davis, just sent in this testimony he received from the youth pastor of the New Covenant Church of God in Charleston, South Carolina. Here's the note in its entirety: ------------- > Hi, my name is Tim. I am a youth pastor in Charleston, South Carolina. > Not to long ago a close friend of mine who happens to be in your choir > sent me the CD's of your live performance. I hold services every > Wednesday that have become so evangelistic in their fervor that we are > calling them "presence nights". We are seeking nothing but His presence. > During our altar services I don't let the youth band play, I put on > music so that everyone can receive what the Lord has for the whole body. > Several weeks ago I put in your CD's, the Lord was moving in a mighty > way. When the night was done, it looked like a bomb had exploded in the > building with teenage casualties everywhere. I know you did this > recording some time ago but that night, we definitely had church > together. Three were baptized in the Holy Ghost for the first time and > three gave there hearts to Jesus for the first time. Please let your > choir know that their are lives in SC touched today because of their > commitment. Thank you sir! > > Have a great Easter, and tell Dave Patton I said hey!! > > Tim Kirkendall > Youth Pastor > New Covenant Church of God > N. Charleston, SC > > Thank you Lord for the ministry of this choir, I pray that you bless them > for their commitment, and give them souls for their labor. ---------------- God is truly awesome!
