Thank you all so much for your prayers for my friend, Shelia, a fellow listmember. I drove to Central KY yesterday to visit her in the hospital; she had just gotten out of surgery when I arrived. They had to do an extensive excision of skin from her leg; they found it was much worse than they originally thought. Praise God . . . if she had not gone to the doctor when she did, she would have lost her leg and it could have very well been life-threatening. Our God knows, though, and she and I both believe that God is definitely in charge. Please continue to pray for her; she'll be hospitalized for at least another 5-7 days and then have to have home health care come on a daily basis for quite a while. Then they will do skin grafts if it doesn't heal properly, although we're believing God for a swift and total healing now that the infection is gone. Thank you again for praying . . . but don't stop now; she's got a long way to go! But, in the meantime, she's praising God for His goodness and His mercy. It could have easily been so very much worse! Blessings, Jan Ross jross@... http://focusontheword.com ICQ#18767082 "For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.
