What would Jesus do? Well, What did Jesus do? 1. He preached the Word of God. Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 2. They rejected him but he kept Preaching. Luke 8:37 Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 3. He told people things they didn't want to hear. Even people who, "have their religion". Luke 11:44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them. 5. When they threatened to kill Him he kept on preaching. John 8:59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: John 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 6. They Killed Him! For what? What was he guilty of in their Eyes? He told them the truth. He quoted Scripture. SO, when you say to me, "Religion is private, keep it to your self, don't force it down my throat." I say to you. WHAT DID JESUS DO! He preached then died. I should preach until I die, too. He gave his life for me. Should I not do the same? Whether its in season or not, Preach! Teach, Scold, and Encourage. Work with Patience, don't stop, go long, don't quit. 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
