Dear friends, Last week I forwarded a prayer request for a woman who fell off a horse and was near death's door. Here is an update from a friend of the family. Please remember the family in your prayers . . . God moved in marvelously unexpected ways: *********************************** Dear Friends, Some of you have already received this update but for those who haven't I am passing this along now. The reason no one heard from me after the initial letter was sent out was because I was down at the hospital quite often, along with at least a hundred other people. Every night there was prayer and worship in Vanderbilt Hospital's chapel, the likes of which the hospital had never seen. We were all very encouraged when her husband Bill, took off Carol Ann's ventilator. There were always people surrounding her with prayer. People even slept on the floor of her hospital room, up to 12 people at a time. Michael W. Smith was able to sneak (with the nurse smiling and turning her head away) a keyboard in there one night and there was worship going on around her bed. God brought another man out of a coma when one of the men prayed for him to open his eyes. His mom and sister were sitting by his bed when it happened. For reasons beyond our own, God did not bring Carol Ann out. She was only expected to live 24 hours but she hung in there for three days. As the days went by, her breathing became labored until she took her last breath. Bill was by her side when that happened. Carol Ann was one of those remarkable people that made everyone feel special...even those she hardly knew. She was a woman of prayer and love and dedication to her family and the body of Messiah. She will be missed, not only by her family and her friends, but by every mom and teacher at CPA where her children go to school. Thank you for your prayers for her family. We know she is with the Lord and enjoying His presence. She will be missed by we who are left here..... Lovingly yours, Jennifer, Marty and Misha Goetz ********************** Jan Ross jross@... http://focusontheword.com ICQ#18767082 "Sha'alu Shalom Yerushalayim" (Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem) Psalm 122:6 ~*~*~*~*~*~* Focus On the Word Banner Exchange--Sign Up Today and Receive 2,500 Free Credits http://focusontheword.com/banex
