Shalom my brothers and sisters in Yeshua,

The recent failure of the Camp David (Mark 2) talks has meant that
discussions between the two sides are now more low-key. The stakes in
negotiations remain no less high or important. As the 13th of September
approaches, one would expect that the rhetoric from both sides will
intensify.

As the three week period between the 17th Tammuz and 9th of Av ends this
Thursday, pray for continual protection for those who live near the border
with Lebanon, and for those former members of the SLA who have recently
moved to new countries. Pray also for the protection of the Israeli
population against terrorist attacks. Pray for those in the IDF who make
decisions concerning security arrangements as a whole. May
the L-rd grant them wisdom to deal with potential crises as they arise.
