Hi Jan and all, I am curious to know if any of you wear your hair long?
What about covering your hair?

My husband is really responding to the Holy Spirit, he prayed last night to
be led of the Spirit and asked God to put His Holy Spirit in his heart.

It is wonderful to see God move. He really is blessing us. I am seeking to
be more and more submissive to my husband and to the Lord. I fought it for
so long, and now it just feels so right.

Lori

Subject: [CoG] Youth Camp & Stuff

Hi Sherry . . . don't you just "love" friends!?!? <smile>

That is probably one of the hardest things for us to do . . . trust God with
our children. I'm struggling along the same lines right now, but it's like
I keep hearing in my heart, it's God and them, not God and ME and them!
And, if they fall, there's a purpose far bigger than what we can see in the
natural. We have to allow them to learn to walk with God on their own, a
very hard thing for a parent to do!

Your boys will love camp . . . all six of our kids loved it and always
looked forward to going each year. Now I enjoy hearing my grandchildren
talk about it. Major life decisions and changes happen at youth camp that
the kids will remember all the days of their lives!

Speaking of being "in the spirit" . . . we had 21 people baptized in the
Holy Ghost today. There was this young woman (probably 21-22) who danced in
the spirit for nearly an hour. Just looking at her made me tired, but she
never broke a sweat, never seemed to wear out . . . it was awesome!
Actually, God is awesome!!!

Blessings,
Jan

I remember the only time I got to go to church camp, I was about twelve,
there was a girl named Doris that was "in the spirit". She was dancing all
over that auditorium, around posts and pews and she didn't run into
anything.
I thought that was the most awesome thing. We attend Victory Lighthouse
Church of God. My two sons are planning on going to that very same camp.
Lebanon, Missouri. My oldest son (18)has been to church camp before (A/G)
but my youngest (17) hasn't. He's been on medication for seizures and I
have
had a hard time allowing him to go. But, a friend said something to me that
really struck home. She said you either trust God or you don't. Now, I
have
to chew on that one

Sherry
