Atari Software

Yes, Atari stopped making computers some years ago, and now concentrates on software. However, the Atari ST, TT, and Falcon were extremely capable machines, and carved out a niche in the music industry, even after it was clear that Windows was dominating the desktop, because every Atari came with a MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) port as standard equipment. This meant that music software, such as sequencers and notation software, tended to come out first for the Atari, and only later for Macs or PCs. (At least for a while.) There are still loyal Atari users, although their ranks are dwindling. This page is dedicated to them.
