ChurchInfo

Developer: Open Source
Web Site: www.churchdb.org
Comments: ChurchInfo is an open source database for churches, running as a web application. It requires a server with web server software, PHP, and MySQL installed, and can be accessed by virtually any client machine with a web browser. The disadvantage is that it's a bit more complicated to set up. The advantage is that it's designed to be multi-user from the start, and does not force churches to use any particular hardware or operating system on the desktop to take advantage of it. In fact, people using "orphaned" computers and "bleeding edge" hardware should be able to coexist in the same network without any problems.
