GTNet uses protocols exclusive to a BBS program called GT PowerComm. It is possible to gate between FidoNet protocols and GT protocols, but they are not entirely compatible.
The Catholic Information Network (CIN) exists within the United States, and uses GTNet protocols. Sysops in CIN need not be Catholic, but must recognize the legitimacy of the Roman Catholic Church as a Christian Church. BBSs in CIN must carry a minimum of five conferences (CIN Main, CIN Ecumen, CIN Prayer, CIN Totus Tuus, CIN Sysop.) For more information, contact Mike Mollerus at Catholic Information Network #1 (1-619-287-5828; 023/000 in GTNet; 1:202/1613 in FidoNet.) The information file on the network is CINHOST.ZIP.
The Orthodox Christian Network (OCNet) exists mostly within the United States, and uses GTNet protocols. For more information on OCNet, contact George Masters at Orthodox Christian BBS (1-408-286-2263; 8:3200/108 in FamilyNet.)
