News:

"Got Game?" Department

Alpha, the popular church-based program which explains the basics of Christianity, put up a poll on its web site asking "Does God exist?" Predictably enough, pranksters or atheists (or atheist pranksters, who's to say?) gamed the poll, clicking on the "No" response tens of thousands of times in order to give the impression that belief in God is limited to a small (and presumably crankpot) minority. "Advice For The Lovelorn" Department

Romance scammers, who prowl dating sites and social networking sites looking for lonely and vulnerable marks, have started targetting Christians specifically, looking for victims on Christian sites, and suing specific Christian terminology in making their pitch. (Bentley, Amelia, "Thou shalt not fleece: scammers target Christians." www.theage.com.au/rssheadlines Published by The Age Company.)
