Much as I hate to say it, considering the high quality of the writing
from a purely literary standpoint, it is probably best for young
LightRaiders not even to make the fictional acquaintance of poor Elric
- at least not until a very solid grounding in the Faith - existential
despair is not something the adolescent mind needs to deal with!
Elric, if salvageable, would (I imagine) be a scholarly academic
somewhere in the Liberated Lands and a most competent lecturer on the
various traps and devices of Dragons.  
     The Sanctuary characters I am not so acquainted with.
