Look, I'm sorry and this may seem a little SHORT-tempered, but I'm growing a 
LITTLE weary of the puns, criticizing those who are vertically-challenged.  
Don't you have an INCH of dignity left in you, causing you to refrain from 
the SMALL-talk we've all experienced on this list lately?  Well, that is 
all; excuse me from having to CLIMB UP ON A SOAPBOX.  I will return to my 
SHORTcake desert, watching my favorite Disney character, TINY TIM, although, 
as entertainment goes, the whole Ghost of Christmas Past-thing is a bit of a 
TALL TALE to me.

Umdoubtedly.  Not bad, as running gags go.  We used to have a music
director at our church who was 5' tall. His last name was Cummings.  We
called him the short-Cummings of the church. (Wokka, wokka, wokka!)
