I did something similar for my risenworld game.  Unbelievers are
different than other races, assuming you are setting your world in a New
Testament era.  I just had an alternate universe where the splitting of
languages also included races.  Thus far, I've had no one send me an
email bomb over the subject, and even had folks from as far away as
Brazil enjoy it.
