Pesonally I don't like the idea of using a physical shield or armor to
further protect the LR. Its to much like relying on another source for
protection. Not the Overlords. To me the Armor Of God represnts the best
armor a character could get in the game. When I played AD&D we always went
on quests to gain new and better stuff. In DR We start off with the best
armor we could. And I don't like the idea of saying it could be enhanced or
magical of the Overlord. He wouldn't give some LR more protection then
others. Not Biblically anyway. And we all know how God felt about magic, so
thats out. Anyway thats my thoughts on the matter.
