Perhaps one of the longer passages in the Old testament about God sending confusion into the ranks (perhaps several verses from Gideon's rather one sided battle Judges 7:17-25 - of course, the word "confusion" is not in that passage...) could be made into a team rune that could only be used once per adventure and only if the team was outnumbered by at least 3 to 1, and only if they were "On track" with the adventure (In God's Will). The result would be utter confusion in the ranks where the dark creatures saw everyone as the enemy, even their own forces. A different example of an application would be usable once per gaming session, could cause momentary confusion, causing the dark creatures to hesitate, missing one attack round. A good passage for that might be when Moses raised his hand, the Israelites were winning, and when his hands were lowered, they started to loose. (Exodus 17:10-16 - or just verse 11) Again, the criteria for that would be that the light raiders were outnumbered...and perhaps that Light raider would be required to raise his hands for that round (missing out on his/her attack along with the dark creatures. Is there a word rune for making the enemy completely oblivious to what you are doing? Remember when the Angel lead Peter out of prison? He had been shackled to 2 guards, and there was a watch outside his cell (a total of 16 assigned to guard him specifically. Acts 12). He thought he was dreaming until the Angel left him. That would be perfect for getting out of an dark creature stronghold after a failed rescue attempt. Different forms of Confusion - 2 for combat, one for escape. Just don't ask me to write the adventure for them :) Ted
