Reply to: Re: [DragonRaid] Comments Sorry to sound like I was firing off a volley. My apologies. You're correct about alienating some people. We want as many people as possible to find common ground for learning and enjoyment. As was stated in another conversation of entirely different content, perhaps this sort of thing can be offered as a supplement. Those who want to use it can, those who don't can opt not to. This would be similar to the advanced combat "gore" factor. I would like the DR staff to consider adopting this idea since they would be able to exert a factor of control over the issue. An "official" supplement would have more cohesion to the overall system. Thank you my brother. [more stuff snipped] I wasn't asking you to defend your position on the issue--if you want to talk about it privately, we can take it offline. I just wanted to point out that it's "one of those issues" on which different branches of Christianity disagree. If we flavor DragonRaid too much toward one side of the issue, we risk alienating others who may not hold to that view. So it's best to say nothing about it and let the AMs flavor their campaigns according to the doctrines of their church. There are plenty of issues that all of Christianity believes in for us to teach about. I don't think we'll run out of material. -- Rich Sezov Home: sezovr@...
