Wow,

I must say that I can totally see where Kevin is coming from. Faerenoth was
birthed out of the same concerns. It's designed to be more difficult and
geared toward the older teen. However, I can also see where Joe is coming
from. To be completely blunt, the DR2 effort is not going to go ANYWHERE, no
additions, no revamps, no 'beefing up' unless people start taking the
initiative and sending in intelligent, well thought-out submissions that
won't require mass reworking in order to be usable (something I've been
guilty of myself in the past).

Of course we're all busy. Life's like that. But, a wise man once told me
"You see the need, you own the deed". What that means is if you see a
glaring need somewhere, maybe God is putting it on your heart to fill that
need? I'm sure you've thought of ways to improve upon the existing DR
system, Kevin (who among us hasn't?). Why not put your ideas down on paper
and flesh them out, and see if you can't come up with something that'll fix
the areas of need you're seeing?

I just want to take this opportunity to say that I think Joe, Rich, Marty,
Dave, and the rest of the DR2 team deserve a hearty round of applause for
all the hard work they've done so far and the personal sacrifices they've
all had to make. It's a work born out of love, and I for one am very
thankful for their servant attitude! You guys may not be getting paid down
here, but your rewards in Heaven are piling up! :)

I once said that I'd mostly be a lurker on this list, but I just can't seem
to keep my big yapper shut! ;)

God bless us, everyone...
Tiny Tim...er, Colin. (hoo boy, it's time to step aWAAAY from the computer!)
