Hello.
This e-mail covers several topics, dealing with things I wanted to ask
questions about or comment on.
In regards to the timeling for EdenAgain, I liked what Joe did. I have
a question though. What of the 'Old Testament' followers of the One? Is
there a place for them in the timeline?
In regards to the satyr, Joe wrote:
>We have another DC representing Gluttony, so ths Satyr can focus on sensual
>lust.

       Really? Which DC is that?
In regards to a previous post by Arthur (I think) about the level of
tech in the LL: I wrote a response, but it didn't get on the list. The
original Arthurian statement was:
>Taking a look at history you'll notice that basically this happened on
>Earth. Until the advent of high speed communication, Christian
>countries (countries founded on Christian principles, if not Jesus >directly
.like England, Germany, Italy) tended to have increased
>scientific knowledge and technology, while those that didn't (China,
>African nations etc) lagged behind, and many still do today.

Woa, hold on there now. The opposite was true until the industrial
revolution. China invented a whole bunch of things before we (the west) did:
1)gun powder, 2)paper, 3) the printing press, to name a few. Also, Arabia
(Persia and then the Muslim world which took over) developed better in
chemistry, astronomy, and math (they invented algebra and Arabic numerals).
In fact, in the middle ages, Christian Europe Lost Knowledge. We had to do a
lot to get back out of the Dark Ages (their called dark for that reason). We
didn't really surpass the rest of the world until the Industrial Age.
Now, this is not to say that I don't agree with you that Talania
might be a little more advanced. I'm just saying that being a Christian
doesn't automatically make you smarter.
