Good Evening all,

This is Joe's wife, Dannette, writing.  Joe wanted me to let you all know
that he has been hospitalized.  I took him to the ER on Friday (12-26)
morning and he was admitted later that day.  Since then the doctors have
determined that one of the gall stones from his bladder lodged in his
bile duct and cause an infection which in turn effected the function of
his liver.  The onset of symptoms was Christmas morning and the pain he
was in never let up until they gave him drugs at the ER.  At this time (8
pm, Sat)  he has had a shunt placed in the duct to allow fluid to leave
the gall bladder and allow his liver to return to proper function levels
and to allow the antibiotics a chance to clear the infection.  He will
have surgery to remove his gall bladder sometime next week  Please pray
for the Doctors, Nurses and anyone else you can think of.  We would ask
that God would grant these people wisdom and sure hands as they care for
Joe.
