Good Evening All,

Here is a quick update on Joe.  Today, Monday, (Dec 29) Joe had surgery
to remove his gall bladder.  It was a successful albeit long procedure. 
It took two hours for the surgery and two hours for him to recover.  Once
he was back in his room he was beginning to sound and act like the Joe we
all know and love.  He of course is having surgical pain but that will
end and he will be fine.  Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.

One good thing that came out of all this is that I was able to speak with
Joe's mom more on the Grace of God ( This is an on going conversation we
have from time to time). She is very close to grasping it and I pray will
one day decide that she needs God's grace in her life.  She was raised
with a works approach to salvation and that you have to do something to
earn heaven.  Please pray for her understanding.
