Does God Work, Although We Cannot See Him?
By Don Ruhl

During Job's debate with his friends, he expressed the desire to see God. Somehow seeing God, Job thought, would help him to know the works of God. Our generation thinks just like that. They do not believe that He carries out justice because they cannot see Him. To that kind of thinking, Elihu gave Job these words of wisdom. Elihu said, "Although you say you do not see Him, yet justice is before Him, and you must wait for Him" (Jb. 35:14).

Do not limit God to what the eye sees. He is here with justice and justice is before Him. Therefore, Elihu counseled Job to wait for God. Yes, wait for Him who is the Judge and He will do justice according to righteousness. Wait for Him and you shall see His justice and after you finally see Him you will know that He did what was just all along.
