Read the Bible in a year chronologically by reading Exodus 27 and 28 today The Priority of Worship By Don Ruhl Exodus 27 begins this way, "You shall make an altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide--the altar shall be square--and its height shall be three cubits" (Ex. 27:1). What is so interesting about this is that it was not too long ago that Israel was crossing the Red Sea, witnessing the miracles of God upon Egypt, and living as slaves. Then they were getting instructions to make an altar. Wandering in the wilderness, there would be so many necessities of life that needed attention, but God was taking care of those things for Israel. He wanted them to take care of His things. Putting things in place for worship was a priority for God, and so it should have been for Israel. Let worshiping God be your priority and He will take care of your things. www.GrantsPassChurchofChrist.com http://associate.com/groups/emaildevotionals/ To unsubscribe, send ANY message to: emaildevotionals-leave@...
