Genesis 12 records the words of God to Abram (later known as Abraham), when God told him to leave his nation and his family to go live in a new land and from Abram, God would create a new nation (Gen 12.1, 2). God told him further that whoever blessed him, God would bless and whoever cursed him, God would curse (v. 3a, b). Then God made this promise, "And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed" (Gen 12.3c). The rest of the Bible shows the fulfillment of that promise. Does God ever become angry? Yes, the second line in verse 3 showed that He does. However, He wants to bless the world. That means He wants to bless you. Do not resist Him or curse Him, but draw near to God that He might draw near to you. When you do, watch Him bless you. www.GrantsPassChurchofChrist.com www.TheBibleMeditator.com http://associate.com/groups/emaildevotionals/ For your friends to subscribe have them send a message to: emaildevotionals-join@...
